Suffering Is A Part Of God’s Plan For Us:

Suffering Is A Part Of God’s Plan For Us:

One thing that is certain in life is that as Christians there are times in our lives that we will suffer. Philippians 1:29 states: 29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake.

We may curse God, be angry, or not understand when God allows us to suffer and to bear a burden that it seems to heavy for us to bear. But we must trust and depend upon God completely in the time of trouble and He will see us through. The thing that we have to understand is that our level of suffering is not based upon how much faith we have or lack. We do not suffer, or get sick, or die, or have problems in our lives strictly because we don’t have enough faith. It was always part of God’s plan that we suffer, are sick, we die, or we endure terrible pains, trials and tribulations, heartaches, and
afflictions. How can we be angry with God when He allows us to suffer or fail to depend upon Him in the time of trouble when Jesus Christ Himself had to suffer and die on
Calvary’s cross to save us from sin and death.

If God Himself had to suffer and die to save us then why are we unwilling to depend upon God and suffer and even die for Him to fulfill His will and purpose in our lives. Just as Jesus Christ suffered and died on Calvary’s cross, we must suffer, live, and die for Jesus Christ, For God allows us sometimes to suffer to fulfill His Will and Purpose in our lives, to make us stronger, wiser, kinder, more loving, or to make us the person we need to become to endure the suffering that we must endure in the future without being daunted or turned away. The suffering we endure now makes us stronger for the suffering ahead. Whatever the trial, the tribulation, the persecution, the obstacle, the mountain my Bible tells me that:

God never said that we would not suffer. Instead He promised us that He would always be right there, that He would never leave us nor forsake us and that we would outlast and overcome our suffering through faith in Him and the Everlasting Power of God.

Philippians 4:11-13: Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 12   I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me.
