“I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.“- Psalm 122:1

Pastor Willie D. Hall, Interim Pastor

My beloved Church Family,

As we reflect on the above scripture let us rejoice as we enter this house. Some people feel that staying at home and watching on tv their choice of preacher, and have no need to come to the meeting place of the church. That is within each and every one of us.

I am so grateful to the Lord that things are going well in spite of what the Devil tries to do. So just as David said, “I was glad when they said unto me let us go into the house of the Lord.”
We Thank God for all that the 6th month brought us. We were able once again to provide a place to vote, and I’m glad to report that the people came out in large numbers. We worshiped with the men and Church of St. Reed Baptist Church in their Annual Men’s Musical.

We rejoiced during the Annual Youth Day here at the Tab, The songs, Praise Dancers where the youngest dancer Mr. Williams who came in at 4 years old and knew the routine. And the message that stirred the hearts of each of us, not only were we fed spiritually, but the staff of the Youth Church served a very satisfying meal.

Bro. George & Lynda Saunders are moving rapidly in the planning stages of our 72nd Anniversary and looking for a few good men & women to join the Anniversary Committee. Please give them a hand and keep them in your prayers.

Some might think we have loads of time but it’s only three months away.

My wife and I were able to get some rest and enjoyed the company of our 2 Great Grand Daughters who were with us for two wonderful days, before they had to
return home because of death in the family.

We were shocked when Sis. Leffall called with the news of Pastor Leffall’s death. We know where we are today but don’t know what tomorrow will bring.

Let us as a church family put our arms around Sis. Leffall during these Trying time, and in the days to come. Let us continue to pray and support our Church in the building fund phase. Continue to pray for our world, our nation, state, President and each other.

In His Service
Pastor Willie D. Hall, Interim Pastor
