What a milestone! What a joyous and spiritual celebration to be held!  The month of October 2009. The Tab’s 65th Church Anniversary.

You are invited to join in this celebration of 65 years of Tabernacle of Faith’s historical journey through time and into eternity.

Our Anniversary Theme and Scripture are:

Faith: A journey Through Time and Into Eternity (Hebrews 11:29  – 12:4)

Faith is the most prominent word in religion. It is often used to describe one’s entire religious persuasion. Faith can get lost in the shuffle of religious jargon and have little meaning in daily life. In 1944, America was at war, currency lost its value, the cost of living rose 17.6%, price controls were put in place, government spending was determined to be out of control at $91 billion, unemployment was 1.2%, the average yearly salary was $2,400.00. Yet there were 38 people who had a faith that would survive this time and organized a church and elected Rev. F. D. Ferrell as its Pastor. Their demonstrated faith has survived time and in October we celebrate 65 years of faithful service.

Serving along with me in planning our 65th year Celebrations and Services are Co-Chairpersons are Deacon Alvin & Sis. Jackolyn King.

Souvenir Book

We are asking your support of the 65th Church Anniversary with your participation in celebrating Tabernacle of Faith’s journey of over 65 years by placing an ad in memory of a loved one, a personal congratulations note to Tabernacle become a part of the memorable journal documenting 65 years of history and tributes from members.  Prices to place a business advertisement, a memorial or congratulatory tribute are reasonable and will go toward the production of this Souvenir Book.

Ad forms will be received each Sunday following morning worship service in Mims Fellowship Hall or contact one of the committee members to submit your congratulatory tribute.

Forms are available in the foyer, in the church office and from any committee member:
